The best way to start our journey is to drive through the Peneda-Gerês National Park heading to Chaves and make a stop at the Nacional 2 “0 Km” milestone. Enjoy the road cutting the valleys of the Montesinho Natural Park just before our first rest night in Bragança.

On the second day take a deep breath and smell the pure air of the Miranda Highlands and prepare to dive into the scenic views of the Douro Canyon and its cliffs located inside the International Douro Natural Park, Don´t forget to make a break at lunch time and taste the famous “posta mirandesa”, a delicious juicy steak full of flavor with potatoes and vegetables! The second day ends the best way visiting a wine house and tasting some of the best Douro´s wines just a couple of miles away from our 4**** Hotel where you can relax and comment on the highlights while enjoying the termal heated outdoor swimming pool.

After a delicious breakfast, prepare to ride on the famous N222 till Peso da Régua and then crossing the Douro River just before climbing the southern hillside of Serra do Marão pointing to our final destination.
